Swim with sea lions, manta rays, hammerheads and whale sharks

Swim with the Big Guys -- The Sea of Cortez and Socorro are cornucopias of marine life. In addition to large schools of colorful fish angelfish, snapper, jacks and tuna, you have a very good chance of swimming with manta rays, whale sharks and hammerhead sharks. In the Sea of Cortez you are pretty much guaranteed the additional fun of swimming with the sea lions. In Socorro manta rays are common and lucky divers have seen humpback whales. Both destinations are seasonal, so Island Dreams will help you to select the best time of year to visit.

M/V Valentina -- Formerly the Baja Aggressor, the motor vessel Valentina changed ownership and underwent a complete refit in 2013. She now accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in ten spacious, en-suite cabins, all of which are on the main deck. There is a large air-conditioned salon, a top sun deck with a hot tub, and a very well-organized dive deck with provision for underwater photographers. Guests are ably served by a highly experienced and accommodating Captain and crew. The program includes complimentary beverages including draft-beer and soft drinks. Meals encompass a variety of Mexican cuisine, European, and Asian dishes. Nitrox is available. M/V Valentina is undoubtedly the finest liveaboard currently operating in the Sea of Cortez.

Cabin Choices -- M/V Valentina has a total of ten cabins accommodating a maximum of 20 guests. All Cabins have A/C and a private restroom and shower.
