SWIM with the BIG GUYS -- The Sea of Cortez is a cornucopia of marine life. In addition to large schools of colorful fish angelfish, snapper, jacks and tuna, you have a good chance of swimming with manta rays, whale sharks and hammerhead sharks. You are pretty much guaranteed to swim with the sea lions. But know that Sea of Cortez is a seasonal affair. Fortunately, Island Dream's group tour is scheduled during the very middle of the sweet spot for warm clear water and abundant marine life in the Sea of Cortez.

M/V VALENTINA -- Formerly the Baja Aggressor, the motor vessel Valentina changed ownership and underwent a complete refit in 2013. She now accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in ten spacious, en-suite cabins, all of which are on the main deck. There is a large air-conditioned salon, a nice top sun deck, and a very well-organized dive deck with provision for underwater photographers. Guests are ably served by a highly experienced and accommodating Captain and crew. M/V Valentina is undoubtedly the finest liveaboard currently operating in the Sea of Cortez.

NITROX Option -- Enjoy the benefit of Nitrox fills on all dives, for an additional cost of $100 per diver.

TOUR LEADER Susan Young -- Susan Young returned to Houston and Island Dreams Travel after having lived and worked as a dive instructor on Grand Cayman for 15 years. While in Grand Cayman, Susan earned her U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master's License. She loves boats almost as much as she does diving. Susan's scuba adventures have ranged from her Texas "back yard" dive sites of the Flower Gardens, Stetson Bank and the offshore oil platforms, to Cozumel, St. Lucia, Tobago, Aruba, Bonaire, Fiji, the Philippines and Truk Lagoon. She will be representing Island Dreams on this cruise to afford you maximum diving safety and enjoyment.
