Majestic Explorer Luxury Live-Aboard -- The elegant & spacious 16-passenger M/V Majestic Explorer provides 8 air-conditioned rooms located on the main and lower decks; all of which have private bathrooms and ocean views. Six of the eight cabins have twin beds and all cabins can be converted to queen beds for couples. The yacht features partially covered sun deck with a jacuzzi and ample seating, salon area with dining, bar and entertainment area. The large dive deck includes a bathroom, large camera table with charging station, individual storage areas, rinse bins for cameras and another for gear. Tour Leader Susan Young -- Island Dreams' agent Susan Young is truly a dive travel expert. A NAUI and TDI Scuba Instructor, Susan lived in Grand Cayman for almost fifteen years, 1989-2004. She worked for Red Sail Sports at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman, is Tri-Mix certified, and holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master Ship Captain's license. Over the years Susan has accumulated a great knowledge of diving and dive travel. We are certainly pleased to have her back at Island Dreams Travel, where she is again able to share her expertise, insight, and enthusiasm with you.

All rates are per person on a twin-share basis, in US dollars, and subject to change without prior notice. Same-gender twin-share spots are available.
Package inclusions: Cruise cost includes accommodations, all meals & snacks, all beverages including domestic alcohol, and 3-4 dives daily. This itinerary visits the dive site of Cabo Douglas, where marine iguanas are commonly sighted. Land tours are included with this trip, featuring a visit to the colonies of Blue Footed Boobies and frigate birds; and to the Santa Cruz highlands, home to the Galapagos tortoises.
Rates do not include: International Ecuador, domestic flight to Baltra, any required hotel overnights, additional fees as specified below, gratuities to guides and crew, purchases at the boutique, Nitrox fills, dive gear equipment rentals, underwater photo course or camera equipment, and all other expenses of a personal nature.
Additional fees, payable on site: Ecuador Tourist Card ($20), Galapagos National Park Fee ($100), Hyperbaric Chamber Fee ($35), Fuel Surcharge ($150), totaling $305.00. Optional Nitrox fills are $150 per week. All costs are subject to change.
Crew Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the cruise price. Guests are encouraged to reward the crew based on their performance. If the crew performs to your expectations, may we suggest that a gratuity of approximately 10% of your cruise rate be considered normal aboard a live aboard dive boat. However, ultimately the amount to tip is entirely at the discretion of the guest. Gratuities are divided up among all crew members including naturalist guides.
Getting There: Guests are responsible for their own aifare to either Quito or Guayaquil, and must arrive no later than February 8, 2019. A hotel overnight will be required, at the guests' expense. On February 9, guests will fly to Baltra Island, Galapagos, to join the Majestic Explorer. Explorer Ventures will book your flights from Guayaquil or Quito, to Baltra. The cost at the moment is between $470 - $580 round trip, depending on the departure city. They will also assist with booking hotel overnights in either city, as needed.
